About Us

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Clarify Automotive ("I", "me", "my"). By booking, accepting a quote, or agreeing to work being carried out on your vehicle, you agree to these terms.

Services & Pricing

Clarify Automotive provides mobile vehicle services across Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas, including:

  • Headlight Restoration & Ceramic Coating

  • Window & Light Tinting

  • Vehicle Enhancements & Scratch Repairs

  • Car Audio, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Dash Cam, and Stereo Fitting

Initial quotes and starting rates (e.g., Headlight Restoration from £80 per pair, Stereo Fitting from £50) are subject to final confirmation based on vehicle condition, required equipment, and travel distance.

Any extra work or required parts discovered during the job will always be discussed and agreed upon with you before proceeding.

Mobile Service & Access Requirements

To ensure work can be carried out safely and efficiently, please ensure:

  • Safe Access: A safe, legal parking space and suitable working clearance around your vehicle are available.

  • Power Access: Access to a standard domestic power socket if requested prior to arrival.

  • Vehicle Access: The vehicle is reasonably clean and accessible.

  • Owner Permission: You are the legal owner of the vehicle or have explicit permission from the owner for work to be carried out.

Bookings, Cancellations & Delays

Appointments are subject to availability and suitable weather conditions.

Because this is a mobile service, extreme weather (heavy rain, high winds, freezing temperatures) or severe traffic delays may require an appointment to be rescheduled. I will always give you as much notice as possible.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24–48 hours notice where possible.

Payments

Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless agreed beforehand.

I accept Cash and Bank Transfer.

Service Specifics & Pre-Existing Conditions

  • Headlight Restoration: I aim for optimal clarity. However, pre-existing internal lens damage, severe internal moisture, cracks, or failed prior DIY coatings may limit the final result.

  • Car Audio & Electrical Fitting: I am not responsible for pre-existing electrical faults, blown factory fuses, faulty customer-supplied equipment, or missing aftermarket wire harnesses/dash kits.

  • Tinting & Cosmetic Enhancements: Minor surface dust particles may occasionally settle during mobile outdoor application despite best efforts. Pre-existing deep paint scratches or severe clear coat damage may affect final enhancement results.

Warranty & Guarantee

  • Headlight Restoration: Includes a 6-month warranty against premature UV re-oxidation or coating failure.

  • Audio & Accessory Installation: Includes a 6-month workmanship warranty covering installation and wiring connections.

  • Exclusions: Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, stone chips, impact damage, accidents, chemical corrosion, improper cleaning, internal component failures, or faulty customer-supplied equipment.

      Warranty claims require inspection or photograph verification prior to remedial work.

Privacy Policy & Cookies

Contact Information: Name, phone number, email address, and job location/postcode collected during booking are used strictly to deliver services and send quotes.

Data Protection: Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Rights: You can request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing contact@clarifyautomotive.co.uk.
